MANILA - Don't like the way President Rodrigo Duterte talks? Blame God.

"If you have something against me or my mouth or my character, go to God and complain. Siya ang may gawa. He is the one to be blamed," Duterte said in an exclusive interview with ANC on Thursday.

Duterte said his battle cry of "change is coming" applies to corrupt officials and not him.

"I survived 40 years sa politika. Ni minsan hindi ako nakatikim ng talo. From a vice mayor diretso iyan hanggang dito sa Malacañang."

"Bakit ko i-change yan? Change is coming sa mga corrupt lang. Wag mo akong isali diyan," he said.

The president has been criticized on several occassions for his tough-talking habits, controversial statements, and even catcalling a reporter.

"Why should I change? God made me the way I am. God gave me this identity and God gave me this mouth," he said.
