A seafarer who lost his wife and 7-year-old daughter to a robbery-slay said Tuesday that he trusts the National Bureau of Investigation to bring the killers to justice.

The Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) and Public Attorney's Office have extended their assistance to the grieving Marlon Gamos.

But Gamos, in a press conference organized by VACC, said: "I tell them everything... only the NBI. The VACC, no. I'm sorry. My attorney, no."

"Before you came, I already tell (sic) to the NBI so no need to tell you. If I tell you, the case will be disrupt[ed]," he added.

Gamos was in the United Arab Emirates when his wife and daughter were found dead inside their home in General Trias, Cavite last week.

Autopsy results showed that the mother died due to traumatic head injuries while her daughter died due to asphyxia by suffocation.

Expensive items such as gadgets, jewelry, and a car were missing from their home, investigators said.
The Department of Justice on Thursday ordered the NBI to investigate the crime.

Police probers, meanwhile, said last week that they were looking into several persons of interest.
