Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa said he will require all priests from his chaplain service to pray for rain on Nov. 30 when another major protest against the Marcos burial is scheduled.

(I am requiring all priests from our chaplain service to pray for rain. The priests should pray that it will rain so they cannot form groups. All the priests in the world, I mean the whole PNP, I’m asking them to pray for rain.)

Two major demonstrations have been scheduled to protest the burial of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani.

The November 30 protest at the People Power Monument will serve as a sequel to the November 25 “Black Friday” protest at the Rizal Park.
