Vice President Leni Robredo and her rival, former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, will get a copy of a report on the initial recount of their votes in the 2016 elections in "a couple of days", an official of the Supreme Court said Wednesday.

Acting as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal, the High Court ordered Tuesday the release of the initial recount report concerning 3 of 30 provinces where Marcos claimed he was cheated by Robredo.

"Ilalabas pa lang po iyan. Kahapon lang po nag-decide ang tribunal so it will take probably a couple of days for the tribunal to prepare everything and send out notices together with the report," said SC Public Information Chief Brian Keith Hosaka.

(That has yet to be released. The tribunal only decided yesterday.)

The PET on Tuesday also required the 2 parties to comment on Marcos' bid to nullify votes in 3 southern provinces on the grounds of alleged terrorism, intimidation, and harassment of voters.

These were not among the 3 pilot provinces chosen by Marcos, namely Camarines Sur, Iloilo and Negros Oriental.
