The country will not be affected by any low pressure area or brewing storm this week, the state weather bureau said Sunday.

However, easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over the Caraga and Davao regions, and Aurora and Quezon provinces, PAGASA meteorologist Meno Mendoza said in a Facebook broadcast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience fair weather except for isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening, added PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio in a DZMM interview.

Two or 3 more storms are expected to enter the country before the year ends, PAGASA earlier said.
