Gov't critic hopes 'Commute Challenge' a wake-up call to Panelo, officials

After a nearly four-hour commute, President Rodrigo Duterte's Spokesman Salvador Panelo arrives in Malacañang, delivering on his promise after being dared by critics for denying the existence of a mass transport crisis in the Philippines.

Government critic, Bayan Secretary General Renato Reyes-- also fulfilling his end of the bargain as he takes the public transport to his interview with ANC.

Reyes hopes the commute challenge will serve as a wake-up call to government officials, with the end goal of finding long-term solutions for the country's traffic woes.

Metro Manila Development Authority Traffic Zone Head, Bong Nebrija meanwhile admits the traffic situation is indeed worsening. He however assures the public that the government is doing its best to address the issue.
