To mark the National Indigenous Peoples' Month this October, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts is organizing a national "Kálkalí" --- a Kankana-ey word that means conversations -- with indigenous peoples.

NCCA's Elmalyn Abatayo and Monica Fides Amada Santos of Dayaw Kálkalí 2019 talks about the 2-day event that will see IP communities sharing their take on intangible cultural heritage, including oral traditions, performing arts, and traditional craftsmanship.
