Bacolod magbubukas ng 'night shift' vaccination

MAYNILA— Magbubukas na rin ng bakunahan sa gabi ang Bacolod City, ayon sa kanilang public information office. 

Ayon sa Bacolod City PIO sa isang pahayag, sisimulan ngayong linggo ang graveyard shift vaccination drive mula alas-8 ng gabi hanggang alas-4 ng madaling araw. 

“I know how important is our BPO industry to the economic life of the city that is why we are planning to target evening and graveyard shift call center agents,” sabi ni Mayor Evelio Leonardia sa isang panayam.

Dagdag niya: "We saw their enthusiasm to get vaccinated so we will go out of our way to serve those working the night shift in different BPO firms." 

Target dito ang mga nagtatrabaho sa business process outsourcing (BPO) at call center agents na night shift ang duty. 

"Regular call center agents cannot make it to the scheduled vaccination as they have to leave work while the graveyard shift agents would rather rest once they are home early in the morning”, ayon kay City Administrator Em Ang. 

Magmula Agosto 15 ay nasa higit 180,045 na ang naturukan sa lungsod. 

Maaalalang may ilang lungsod sa Kamaynilaan na nagbukas ng magdamagang bakunahan para sa mga trabahador na walang oras sa araw na magpabakuna.
