(UPDATED) Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon is included in a list of officials who allegedly accept bribes for processing shipments, Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson said Monday.

Lacson said the list of allegedly corrupt officials that he obtained contained names which were not mentioned by broker Mark Taguba, who earlier claimed that he gave grease money to Customs personnel.

Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte was not on the list, the senator added.

Lacson made the allegation a day before the Senate resumed its investigation into a P6.4 billion shipment of illicit drugs that slipped past inspections by the Bureau of Customs last May.

Faeldon denied pocketing payoffs minutes ahead of Tuesday's hearing.

"I did not ask, I did not accept even a single centavo," he told reporters.

The Customs chief said he wants to verify Lacson's list and see if it could be used to run after alleged bribe takers.

"Gusto nating maiayos ang Customs, makita ang listahan, prosecute natin talaga if verifiable ang information," he said.
