Duterte tells PMA cadets: Die for country if needed

BAGUIO CITY -- President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday urged graduating cadets of the Philippine Military Academy to "die for your country" if necessary.

"Serve your country well. Die for your country if needs be. Remember the young Filipinos yet to come," Duterte told members of the PMA "Mabalasik" Class of 2019.

"If you think the country is not run the way it is, and if it will destroy your country, you should know what to do," added the President, who was guest of honor at the event.
