Duterte’s economic managers present ‘Dutertenomics’ in Cambodia

The economic managers of the Duterte administration presented the 'Dutertenomics' during the World Economic Forum on ASEAN in Cambodia.

The Philippine delegation, including Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade and Public Works and Highways chief Mark Villar, talked about plans of upgrading existing infrastructure and building new airports and railways.

They added Duterte is serious in accomplishing his 'Build, build, build' program by 2022, a key component in the ASEAN’s Infrastructure and Logistics Program for Interconnectivity.

Socio-economic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia, meanwhile, downplayed fears the country's debt will rise due to the government's ambitious economic program. News Now, 11 May 2017
