Water supply in Metro Manila enough till end of May: regulator

MANILA - Water supply in Metro Manila will last until the end of May, the National Water Resources Board said Friday.

"Kaya pa rin [ng Angat Dam na] matugunan 'yong pangangailangan natin hanggang sa buong buwan ng Mayo," executive director Sevilla David Jr. told radio DZMM.

Sevilla said the water level in Angat Dam is currently at 189 meters, nine meters higher than the operating level of 180 meters.

He added that they are expecting rainfall in June in order to replenish the supply of water enough for the year.
