MANILA - The Office of Civil Defense has so far received some P1 million cash donation for its COVID-19 fight, its administrator said Monday.

OCD administrator Ricardo Jalad urged state agencies to report the donations they have received for a centralized database.

President Rodrigo Duterte, through Administrative Order No. 27, ordered that all donated medicines, medical equipment and supplies, and other health products meant to support government's fight against COVID-19 must be coordinated with the OCD.

The policy covers all donations coming from foreign governments, private entities and groups, and non-government organizations.

Donations coursed through other government bureaus, departments, hospitals, schools, and medical facilities are allowed but must be reported to the OCD.
