A state of calamity has been declared in the quake-hit town of Mabini in Batangas, which bore the brunt of Saturday's twin quakes.

Residents remain on edge after dozens of aftershocks rattled the town.

Food, tents, and medicine are being distributed, but local officials are calling for more aid especially construction materials as the quakes damaged several homes and buildings--including hospital and churches.

Local officials said at least three people were injured because of the quakes while hundreds of families were affected.
