Senator Leila de Lima has arrived at the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court on Friday where she will be presented to the judge who ordered her arrest on drug charges.

Her convoy left the Senate a few minutes before 9 a.m. after she voluntarily surrendered to arresting officers.

According to Liberal Party President Senator Francis Pangilinan, De Lima's convoy went to the court to turn over folders, fingerprints, pictures among others.

Authorities barred De Lima's supporters and groups of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption, one of the petitioners against De Lima, from approaching the senator.

The judge said De Lima will be detained at Camp Crame Custodial Center.
