Senator Antonio Trillanes on Thursday said he is mulling entering the academe when his second term in the Senate ends in May.

"Plano kong magturo... I'd like to believe na marami naman tayong mashi-share sa mga kabataan, maituturo sa kanila," he told reporters.

(I plan to teach. I'd like to believe that we have a lot that we can share and teach to the youth.)

Trillanes said he eyes teaching governance and public policy to college and graduate students.

The senator has a naval system engineering degree from the Philippine Military Academy, where he graduated cum laude. He got his masters degree in public administration from the University of the Philippines.

He was first elected to the Senate in 2007, after campaigning from detention due to the botched mutinies he led against then President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
