INC crowd in EDSA now close to 15,000

As of 7 p.m., the Philippine National Police (PNP) estimates the crowd at the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) rally in EDSA at close to 15,000. Protesters at EDSA-Shaw is now at 13,000, while those at EDSA Shrine are around 1,500.

INC apologizes to the public for the inconvenience they have caused. INC spokesperson Edwil Zabala also asked for understanding for the massive traffic the protest is causing.

Traffic in the area is now at a standstill.
