Woman's body found floating in Pasig River

MANILA – A dead woman was found floating in Pasig River early Friday.

The victim, identified based on her identification card as Cerila Maaliao, was found floating in the river in Barangay Pineda past 1 a.m.

The victim's ID also indicated that she is an employee at the accounting department of Veggie Foods Inc.

No wound was found in the woman's body, but authorities suspect that the body had been in the river for more than 24 hours. – report from Kori Quintos, ABS-CBN News
