Present at the Comelec main office in Intramuros were Cagayan 1st District Rep. Jack Enrile, Zambales Rep. Mitos Magsaysay, former senator Richard Gordon, re-electionist Sen. Gringo Honasan, San Juan Rep. JV Ejercito, former senator Ernesto Maceda and former senator Juan Miguel Zubiri. Another UNA bet is former Tarlac governor Margarita "Tingting" Cojuangco, aunt of President Benigno Aquino III. Businessman Joey de Venecia did not show up at the Comelec main office after announcing his withdrawal from the Senate race. The UNA bets were accompanied by UNA leaders Vice-President Jejomar Binay, former president Joseph Estrada and Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile. Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao was also present. The grounds outside the Comelec main office were filled with supporters of the UNA Senate hopefuls who brought with them large flags and banners bearing the candidates' names.
