Senatorial candidates running under the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA), a coalition formed by Vice President Jejomar Binay and former President Joseph Estrada, have arrived at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to file their certificates of candidacy.

Another UNA bet is former Tarlac governor Margarita "Tingting" Cojuangco, aunt of President Benigno Aquino III.

Businessman Joey de Venecia did not show up at the Comelec main office after announcing his withdrawal from the Senate race.

The UNA bets were accompanied by UNA leaders Vice-President Jejomar Binay, former president Joseph Estrada and Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile. Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao was also present.

The grounds outside the Comelec main office were filled with supporters of the UNA Senate hopefuls who brought with them large flags and banners bearing the candidates' names.
