MANILA - Vice President Jejomar Binay believes the plunder case filed against him is meant to spur a clash between him and President Aquino.

Speaking to ANC, Binay denied speculations that he is quitting the Cabinet amid a supposed rift with Aquino over the Disbursement Acceleration Program.

The Vice President earlier called on Malacanang to reveal how funds were spent under the DAP.

Meanwhile, Binay is postponing the launch of his new party to the first quarter of 2015.

He said the timing may be off to discuss politics amid controversies such as the pork barrel scam.
