MANILA, Philippines -- A former poll official doubts the results of the random manual audit (RMA) of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV).

Former commissioner Gus Lagman said the poll body should cross-check its findings with that of the National Citizens' Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL).

He said based on 130 precincts NAMFREL was able to monitor, the accuracy rate was just 94.915 percent.

Lagman is concerned that if NAMFREL's findings are correct, the results of the May 13 polls may be put into question.
