DOJ to consult public on cybercrime law

DOJ Assistant Secretary Geronimo Sy, a proponent of the anti-cybercrime law, says the government will consult the public about the law's implementing rules and regulations.

The Supreme Court declared as unconstitutional 3 provisions of the law. The same decision, however, upheld the provision that penalizes internet libel but only covering the original author. - ANC, Top Story, February 18, 2014
