MANILA - What happened inside the papal plane after the Pope left Tacloban?

According to ABS-CBN Correspondent Lynda Jumilla, the Pope was very sorry that he had to shorten his stay in Leyte province because of the inclement weather.

However, the Pope was also thankful because he was able to spend time with the people in Tacloban and Palo and even celebrate Mass at the Tacloban airport.

Jumilla said that during the pope's motorcade to Palo, Leyte, he stopped for 10 minutes at a small house and blessed the family there.

She said the Pope was also able to bless from afar the new Pope Francis Center for the Poor.

Jumilla credited Philippine Airlines Captain Roland Narciso and his crew for safely bringing the Pope to Tacloban and back to Manila despite bad weather brought by Tropical Storm Amang.

On the flight back to Manila, the Pope only ate potato chips and juice.

It is not yet known if the Pope will have an additional schedule in Manila.
