MANILA - Kapamilya stars and beauty queens took to the runway Monday night for a fund-raising event for the survivors of super typhoon 'Yolanda' (international name: Haiyan).

The fashion show and auction, featuring Filipino designer Francis Libiran, was held at the EDSA Shangri-La hotel.

Anne Curtis, Xian Lim, Kim Chiu, Coleen Garcia, Christian Bautista, Jake Cuenca and several other celebrities joined Miss Universe finalists' Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup, in showcasing the Indian-inspired pieces.

"To know that there's a reason behind it. There's meaning behind it. I'm just so happy to be part of it," said Curtis in an interview with ABS-CBN.

The coral gown worn by Megan Young when she was crowned Miss World 2013, along with pieces worn by Tyra Banks, Jessy Mendiola, Maricar Reyes and Kathryn Bernardo were among those auctioned off.

Proceeds will be given to ABS-CBN Foundation's Sagip Kapamilya.

"As a fashion designer, this is my way of contributing to the 'Yolanda' victims," Libiran said.
