We’ve heard of hotels for dogs and cats, but what about chicken hotels?

A growing number of Britons have been rearing their own hens, and someone’s got to take care of the plucky creatures when the owners go on vacation.

Deep in the English countryside, a chicken hotel named Fowlty Towers offers boutique-style stays for your feathery friends. Hens are housed in pens and can wander in a fox-proof garden. They are also taken on strolls in the nearby village.

Special diets can even be arranged for discriminating fowls. The hotel’s made such a niche for itself in the chicken world that some clients come from around the world to book their chickens for a stay.
