Remarkable Women: Public school teacher underscores importance of profession

A public school teacher who gave up a career in medicine stressed the importance of her chosen profession in crafting the minds of the youth.

Speaking to ANC's "Talkback," in celebration of International Teachers' Month, Sabrina Ongkiko said people should give more value to teachers who made the decision to teach underprivileged students.

Ongkiko is a 2016 recipient of The Outstanding Women in Nation's Service (TOWNS) award.
