Shortly after Kai Honasan turned four chairs on "The Voice of the Philippines," her father, Senator Gringo Honasan, came to her side on the stage to express his pride for the 25-year-old.

Facing the four coaches, Sen. Honasan said: "We just prayed and hoped that the audience would appreciate my daughter's message, whatever the results are."

And the results were more than Kai had hoped for. The classical pianist and ukulele player said her goal was to turn just one chair, but instead got the surprise of her life when all four coaches pressed their buttons.

Kai, who joined the competition to "prove to my dad that I can make my own story," picked Bamboo Manalac as her coach.
