Actor Phillip Salvador lambasted the critics of President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday, ahead of his annual report to the nation. "Ginagawa naman ng Pangulo natin ang lahat para sa ikabubuti ng bansa, para sa ikabubuti ng bawat Pilipino pero binabatikos pa rin siya," Salvador said in a chance interview with reporters at the Batasan Pambansa. "Sa inyo pong lahat na bumabatikos: mamatay kayong lahat. Salamat po," he further said. (Our President is doing everything for the welfare of the country, for the welfare of each Filipino, but he is still being criticized. To everyone criticizing: may you all die. Thank you.)
