Batangas Governor Vilma Santos would rather not comment on the President Benigno Aquino III's controversial decision not to include veteran actress Nora Aunor in the list of new National Artists, explaining that anything she says on the matter may be taken negatively.

Santos, who ran last year under Aquino's Liberal Party, was touted as the onscreen rival of Aunor in the '70s and '80s. The rivalry endures today, with persistent talks of a reunion project getting thrilled reactions from their long-time fans.

Meanwhile, Santos also spoke about the political plans of her son Luis Manzano, who earlier said he is considering running as Lipa mayor or Batangas governor, both positions held by the veteran actress at different times.
