Full trailer of 'The Healing' released

Three weeks before it hits the theaters, ABS-CBN has released the full trailer of Star Cinema’s “The Healing.”

Starring Vilma Santos and Kim Chiu, the movie will touch the aspect on how Filipinos got used to the tradition of going to faith healers for guidance and treatment of ailments.

In a live interview with “The Buzz” on Sunday, Chiu, who will play a doppelganger in the movie, said it was indeed a wonderful experience to be working with Santos.

“Si Ate Vi sobra siyang approachable, reachable, sobrang down to earth. Walang wall, parang kahit sino puwedeng kumausap sa kanya. Puwede mo ikwento lahat, mahihiya ka na lang kasi sobrang bait niya,” she said.

Directed by Chito Roño, “The Healing” will be shown nationwide on July 25.
