Blakdyak working with Lito Camo on new album

MANILA -- Comedian and novelty singer Blakdyak is set for a comeback.

Blakdyak, whose real name is Joey Formoran Amoto), is best known for the novelty hit "Modelong Charing."

Six years since his last album "Blakdyak's Tribe: Sino Ba?," which was released back in 2009, he announced on "Umagang Kay Ganda" on Thursday that he is working on a new album.

"Actually ginagawa namin collaboration together with Lito Camo," said Blakdyak, who also sang his hit "Goodboy" on the morning show.

He also said he will be having upcoming shows, including one on Valentine's Day in Dagupan.

Blakdyak made headlines last year for the wrong reasons when he was arrested for running amok at an apartelle in Quezon City.
