MANILA -- While the trade war between the US and China has caused manufacturing realignments, it has not affected Acer's Philippine business, managing director Manuel Wong said Monday.

Demand from the provinces and the local market's appetite for gaming laptops is helping drive sales, Wong told ANC's Market Edge. The Taiwanese giant can hold off price increases should the peso stay at current levels against the dollar, he said.

Wong said Acer was on track to grow revenues by 20 percent this year.
