What started as an undergraduate thesis is now changing the way land survey, mapping and titling are being done in the Philippines.

During his college years, Matthew Cua and his fellow researchers developed a drone to gather weather data and produce maps over six years ago.

Now, he leads SkyEye Analytics Inc., a startup he founded based on his research that uses the drone technology to provide services such as cost-efficient land surveying, lot titling, infrastructure planning and construction and humanitarian response.

Cua joins ANC and talks about how his research is helping address environmental concerns.
