Government is rethinking airline safety following the Germanwings crash.

Transportation Secretary Jun Abaya said he has asked officials of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to evaluate cockpit rules, including the viability of implementing a two-person policy in airline cabins to help ensure safety and security following the Germany air mishap.

Abaya, however, cautioned against immediately implementing the said policy. "It's a very sacred equipment that in as much as you don't want a hijacker to enter, there should be provisions also of allowing a pilot to enter," he said.
