Mistubishi Corp, Chiyoda to build Bohol airport

The Transportation department says it has awarded the $91 million contract to build a new airport to two Japanese companies.

Mitsubishi Corp. and Japanese engineering giant Chiyoda said the construction of the new airport will begin this year and is expected to be completed in 2017.

The airport will have a 2,000 meter runway and terminal, which can handle a million tourists a year.
