CEBU - Megan Ashley Bartido, a graduate of Cebu Doctors' University (CDU), topped the 2018 respiratory therapist licensure examination.

Her secret? Pray and take a break.

Bartido got a rating of 89.75 percent among 1,018 examinees.

"I didn't expect to top the exams," she said in Cebuano.

During the 2-day examination, she sought God's guidance.

"I just prayed to God," she said.

The 23-year-old Cebuana also took breaks from studying.

"I gave myself a time of leisure despite the pressure from the exam," she said.

Before pursuing respiratory therapy, she studied accounting for 2 years.

Aside from Bartido, 6 other examinees from CDU also landed in the top 10. - report from Jude Torres, ABS-CBN News
