MANILA – Motorists caught doing the "In My Feelings Challenge" on public roads face fines and possible revocation of their driver's license, the Department of Transportation said Wednesday.

"Be safe and not reckless!" the department said of the viral challenge, wherein a person is filmed while dancing by the open door of a moving vehicle to Canadian rapper's Drake's "In My Feelings."

"Paalala, ang Land Transportation Office at iba pang law enforcement agencies ay manghuhuli sa mga gumagawa ng challenge sa mga pampublikong daan," it said.

(Warning, the Land Transportation Office and other law enforcement agencies will apprehend those doing the challenge on public roads.)

Those caught doing the fad on public roads could be charged with reckless driving and violation of the Anti-Distracted Driving Act, which carries a P5,000 to P15,000 fine, the department said.

"Ipakita ang feelings sa tamang paraan, huwag habang nasa daan," according to the advisory posted on Facebook.

(Show your feelings the right way, not while on the road.)
