MANILA -- Former NBA star Jeremy Lin bucked an injury-riddled campaign to make it to the All-East Asia Super League Team for its 2023-24 season.

The 2023-24 All-EASL team features two players from champions Chiba Jets of the Japan B.League, one from the Seoul SK Knights, one from the Anyang Red Boosters, and one from the New Taipei Kings.

Lin was a force for New Taipei at the start of the season, averaging 16.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in five games as they started with four straight wins in the group stage. However, injuries kept Lin from suiting up in the semifinals where they lost to Chiba.

Yuki Togashi, the point guard of the Jets, added All-EASL team honors to his Final Four Most Valuable Player award. His teammate, John Mooney was dominant in the center position and in rebounds across the season, recording 21.7 points and 15.3 rebounds per game over six games.

Jameel Warney of the Seoul SK Knights made the team after leading the league in scoring with 34.8 points per game in six games, along with 13.2 rebounds.

Korean national team star Park Ji Hoon capped a magnificent EASL Season for Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters with a Player of the Game performance in the Third Place Game, featuring 29 points and eight rebounds.

No player from the PBA made the cut, as both the TNT Tropang GIGA and the Meralco Bolts managed just one win each in the group round.

TNT's lone victory came against the Taipei Fubon Braves on December 20, while the Bolts pulled off a 97-88 overtime win over Ryukyu on December 13.

The EASL completed its home-and-away season in Cebu City early in March, with Chiba outlasting Seoul, 72-69, in the final behind a 24-point, 7-assist outing from Togashi.
