Adamson University has suspended classes for Wednesday, November 28, as the school called on students and employees to support its men's basketball team in a do-or-die game against University of the Philippines.

The No. 2 seed Soaring Falcons lost their twice-to-beat advantage when they fell 73-71 to University of the Philippines on Saturday, a result that sent their series to a decider at Araneta Coliseum.

In Game 1 over the weekend, the Mall of Asia Arena was packed with Fighting Maroons supporters who came in wearing their team colors, which essentially drowned out the blue-and-white section representing Adamson.

UP and Adamson are trying to break a decades-long non-appearance in the UAAP finals.

The Fighting Maroons, led by Benjie Paras and Ronnie Magsanoc, last played in the title series in 1986, while the Soaring Falcons, bannered by Marlou Aquino and Kenneth Duremdes, last featured in the big game in 1992.
