The Texas Legends of the NBA D-League have signed Kiefer Ravena as a "developmental player," the team announced.
In a press release detailing their opening day roster, the Legends mentioned that they "will also have two developmental players: Kiefer Ravena and David Allen."
Ravena tweeted about the development last night:
The team previously had Ravena in for a tryout. Ravena did not join the 2016 NBA D-League Draft.
The Legends last season selected Bobby Ray Parks 25th overall. However, they opted not to bring him back for the 2016-17 campaign. Parks was later selected with the last pick in the 2016 D-League Draft by the Westchester Knicks, but was cut prior to the release of opening day rosters.
