MANILA, Philippines – The coaching staff of the UAAP Season 76 champions De La Salle Green Archers will attend a five-day development program in Australia, Joaquin Henson of The Philippine Star reported.

The comprehensive development program was “specifically tailored for the Archers staff by Basketball New South Wales CEO Danny Martinez and Asia-Pacific director Amado de Villa,” Henson reported.

The De La Salle coaching staff – including head coach Juno Sauler, Jun Limpot and Allan Caidic – will listen to lectures from the coaches of different teams in Australia, as well as experts from the New South Wales Institute of Sport.

“It’s the most complete basketball coaching seminar we’ve ever designed,” De Villa told Henson. “I don’t know if this will ever be duplicated.”

“It’s a privilege to host the UAAP championship coaches, and we’re excited to share the knowledge of some of the best minds in Australian sports,” he added.

The De La Salle coaching staff recently attended an observation tour of the San Antonio Spurs training camp, just a few months after leading the Green Archers to their first UAAP title since 2007.
