Myla Pablo and Tots Carlos powered Motolite to its third straight win as it stepped up its drive for a favorable Final Four seeding with a 25-21, 25-23, 25-14, domination of also-ran PacificTown Army on Saturday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Open Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Already assured of a semifinals seat, Motolite shifted its focus on its ranking as it improved to 10-5 win-loss record and built momentum heading into its crucial end of elims showdown against unbeaten defending champion Creamline on Wednesday.
Pablo, who only saw action in the first two sets, and Carlos scored 14 markers each and combined for 27 of Motolite’s 43 attack points. Carlos added 10 digs and five excellent receptions for Motolite, which shutdown the Lady Troopers in just three sets after needing five sets to silence PacificTown Army in their first meeting.
