Letran leaned on Bong Quinto and JP Calvo as the Knights exacted revenge on Perpetual Help with an 82-80 win at FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Friday to claim the No. 3 seed in the semifinals of NCAA Season 94 men's basketball.

A week after a forgettable effort in a 79-61 triumph over San Sebastian, Quinto and Calvo redeemed themselves with the former tallying 22 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals and the latter registering 17 points, five boards, seven assists and two steals.

One of Calvo’s steals came with 25 seconds to go when, with the Knights trailing 80-79, he swiped the ball out of Kyt Jimenez’s hands and threw a pass to Quinto, who calmly hit the basket that gave the Knights the lead for good.

It was the Muralla-based dribblers’ sixth win in row and 13th all in all in 17 outings.

Letran also got back at Perpetual Help, which won 78-75 in their previous meeting on July 13.

In contrast, the result sent the Altas to their sixth loss against 11 wins settling for the fourth seed.

In other results, San Sebastian routed Mapua, 86-64, to improve to 5-12.

RK Ilagan erupted for 26 points including six booming triples while Michael Calisaan scattered 16 points.

The Cardinals fell to 5-12.
