Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone has been slapped a fine for entering the playing court while Japeth Aguilar was in a heated confrontation with San Miguel Beer’s Gabby Espinas last week.

Cone was slapped a technical foul in the game and has now been fined P5,000, according to Spin.

Espinas was docked P2,000 for the incident, while Aguilar was ordered to pay P1,000.

The confrontation took place in the third quarter of Ginebra’s 104-84 rout of San Miguel.

Espinas alleged that Japeth’s father, former PBA player Peter Aguilar, shouted invectives at him after he committed a hard foul on Ginebra import Justine Brownlee. Japeth confronted Espinas when the latter responded to the elder Aguilar.

Cone entered the court to pull out Japeth, which earned him a technical.
