Defending champion Creamline stretched its unbeaten run to 11 and in the process secured at least a playoff for a Final Four berth with a 25-15, 25-16, 25-18, repeat win over Air Force in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Open Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Cool Smashers continued to wreak havoc in the tournament despite sitting out main setter Jia Morado as they moved a win away from clinching the first spot in the best-of-three semifinals.

Kyle Negrito took care of the playmaking duties with Morado resting after undergoing a wisdom tooth extraction procedure following her return from a tour of duty for the national team in the inaugural ASEAN Grand Prix in Thailand last week. The Far Eastern University product tallied 24 excellent sets to help the Cool Smashers land 45 attack points.

Jema Galanza paced Creamline with 21 points built on 18 attacks and three aces while adding 18 digs and 10 excellent receptions for an all-around outing.
