MANILA - Coming back from the loser’s bracket, Korean Tekken 7 player Sun-woong "LowHigh" Yoon defended his throne in the REV Major 2019 in Parañaque on Sunday.

LowHigh defeated Daichi "Nobi" Nakayama to win his second straight REV Major title. This was also the first time a player has won two straight titles in the same tournament.

After losing to Nobi in the first match, LowHigh went on to win three straight matches to pull off a “bracket reset.”

After the bracket reset, LowHigh won another three matches to eventually claim the title.

Philippine Tekken players, including Southeast Asian Games representatives Alexandre “AK” Laverez and Andreij “Doujin” Albar, also joined the tournament but were eliminated in the pool stages.

Bandai Namco, the game’s developer, also announced it will be holding the Tekken World Tour Finals in Bangkok from December 7 to 8.
