Filipino warrior Kevin Belingon will get his long awaited rematch against ONE bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes on November 9 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Belingon earned the title shot by outclassing Martin Nguyen and claiming the interim bantamweight crown last July.

The “Silencer” first challenged the Brazilian back in 2016 and lost via first-round submission.

But since then, Belingon made a comeback trail and racked six straight victories including sensational stoppage wins over Toni Tauru of Finland, Reece McLaren of Australia, and Andrew Leone of the US.

The Benguet native felt that it was just a matter of time until he gets another shot at the Brazilian mixed martial arts superstar especially with the way he dominated Nguyen, who is the reigning featherweight and lightweight champion.

"My friend Bibiano, I respect him as a champion, but we’re in the same weight class and I'm the top contender. So there is no escape in facing me," said Belingon shortly after beating Nguyen.

The fight will serve as the co-main header in ONE: Heart of a Lion which will also feature another "champion versus champion" match between women's strawweight champion "The Panda" Xiong Jing Nan and women's atomweight queen "Unstoppable" Angela Lee.
