The Philippine men's rugby team beat South Korea and Malaysia for a perfect day in the Asia Rugby Sevens Series at King's Park in Hong Kong Friday.
The Volcanoes beat South Korea 12-7.
Joe Palabay Dawson and Ryan Reyes Howe each registered a try for the Philippine side. It was Dawson who scored a conversion.
The Volcanoes then took on Malaysia and dominated their Southeast Asian Games rivals, 26-10.
Howe had two tries this time, while Harrison Blake and Tim Bweheni had one each.
Tim Berry scored a conversion against the Malaysians.
They will next battle host team Hong Kong on Saturday noon.
The Asia Rugby Sevens Series features the top 8 rugby sevens teams in the continent.
