MANILA, Philippines – Allyn Bulanadi set a new career-high to power San Sebastian College past De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (CSB), 83-67, in the NCAA Season 95 men's basketball tournament on Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Bulanadi scored 32 points on top of 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, helping the Golden Stags rack up their fifth win in a row.

San Sebastian improved to 7-3, earning a share of second place along with Lyceum of the Philippines University and Colegio de San Juan de Letran. CSB, meanwhile, dropped its second straight game for a 6-4 win-loss slate.

The Golden Stags were in control for most of the game, though the Blazers managed to stay within striking distance, 48-39, at the half.

Bulanadi dashed their hopes, however, as he waxed hot from beyond the arc in the third frame, while San Sebastian's defense clamped down on the Blazers. CSB scored just 11 points in the frame, and the Golden Stags pulled away, 68-50.

It was all San Sebastian from there, as the Blazers were never able to trim the deficit. Bulanadi reset his career-high with 14 seconds to go, picking off a pass before going all the way for a lay-up to reach 32 points.

RK Ilagan backed up Bulanadi with 13 points, while Alvin Capobres scored 12.

Yankie Haruna led the Blazers with 16 points, but Justin Gutang was limited to just 9 markers in the game. The Blazers continue to miss the presence of the injured Jimboy Pasturan and Edward Dixon in the contest.
