Boxing: 'Ahas' Nietes, 3 other Pinoy boxers make weight for 'Superfly 3'

LOS ANGELES - Four Filipino fighters made weight on the eve of their respective title bouts on Saturday's "Superfly 3" card. 

Donnie “Ahas” Nietes came in at 114.8 pounds while the Aston “Mighty” Palicte tipped the scales at 114.6 pounds.

They will be fighting for the vacant WBO super flyweight title.

In the battle for IBF super flyweight intercontinental title, Cebuano Bruno “The Aloha Kid” Escalante weighed in a pound lighter at 114.2 while Alexander Marin came in 0.2 pounds over the 115 pound weight limit.

Meanwhile, Filipino-Australian Louisa "Bang Bang Lulu” Hawton will be gunning for the Interim WBC Women’s Atomweight World Title against Mexican Brenda "La Bonita" Flores.

Hawton tipped the scales at 101.8 pounds while Flores came in at 102.4 pounds.
